Q & A With Caroline
Why did you get involved with Dallas Startup Week?
My job in this community, my entire role, is to support startups. Participating in DSW is just another way for me to cheer on those entrepreneurs who have been out there hustling, engage with those looking for some guidance, and give back to the community that is the very reason I wake up excited to go to work every day.
What are you looking forward to in being a Track Captain?
Collaborating with others who are just as passionate about this community to find ways to create new, engaging, and helpful content.
What should attendees look forward to in participating in your Track?
Free legal advice (yes, you read that correctly) from experts in the venture space.
How will your expertise contribute to Dallas Startup Week?
I spend all my time working with startups. From those in the very earliest stage with little more than an idea and a business plan, to those trying to secure their first round of funding from friends and family, to companies with savvy founders who have secured several rounds of institutional investment and now have their sights set on growth, I'm lucky enough that my work exposes me to startups in all their phases. This experience, combined with the collective experience and teachings of the awesome VW team, means I'm well positioned to understand what startups face, not just generally, but within our unique ecosystem.
