Yes, everyone is encouraged to attend regardless if you’re an entrepreneur or not. Techstars Startup Week Dallas is an inclusive event that welcomes everyone regardless of your background.
- How do I make the most of Dallas Startup Week if I have limited time?
With Techstars Startup Week Dallas using Sched (our very own scheduling system) to showcase our numerous events throughout the week, attendees have the capability to add events to their agenda that fits in with their schedule. If you cannot attend events during the day, we would love to have you at our happy hours hosted Monday-Friday at Basecamp. Make sure you attend our special events such as our Launch Party, State of Entrepreneurship, Wrap Party, and more.
- What is Basecamp?
Chase Basecamp is the hub of Dallas Startup Week. Chase Basecamp is the core for Dallas Startup Week activities (think of Basecamp as the equivalent of a student union that is on a college/university campus). Chase Basecamp is typically located in the heart of Downtown Dallas and is easily accessible via public transportation. Attendees can come here to cowork, have meetings, get food and beverages, and more.
- Where do I park?
Parking information will be up soon, but for events in Downtown Dallas we highly encourage you to take DART!
- Should I pre-register?
It’s highly recommended to pre-register due to capacity limits that will be set for events to ensure you will have a spot at the sessions you would like to attend. Plus, you get a swag bag for pre-registering.
- Is Techstars Startup Week Dallas really FREE?
Yes, all thanks to Chase For Business and our other amazing sponsors!
- Can I get to Downtown without driving?
You sure can! Read this article that Launch DFW wrote. We highly encourage attendees to take public transportation to Downtown if you do not want to pay for parking.
- Are the events all located in one building/place?
We host key events at Chase Basecamp (located this year at Ross Tower, 500 N. Akard, Dallas, TX 75201), but other events throughout the week will be hosted at venues in Downtown Dallas, Irving, Richardson, Fort Worth, and Arlington this year.
- Do I have to be a startup or work for a startup to attend?
Absolutely not. In face, we encourage everybody who doesn’t work for a startup or have their own to attend.
